Resilmount MBFR Isolation Clip
The Resilmount MBFR is a sound isolation clip designed specifically for 25 gauge furring channel, with adjustable fixing positions in 3/16 inch increments.

Resilmount MBFR
Most isolation clips are designed around a fixed relationship between the fastener and the channel. The MBFR allows the fixing position to be adjusted in 3/16 inch increments, which is useful where the substrate is uneven or where the finished plane has to be held to a tight tolerance.
Built for 25 gauge channel
The clip is designed for 25 gauge furring channel and is formed from 14 gauge metal, which is heavier than the channel it carries.
Where we use it
Ceilings and walls where levelling the finished surface matters as much as the acoustic result, for example under an old joist floor that has deflected over time.

Worth knowing. The 22 lb acoustical load is lower than the A237 range, so clip spacing has to be closer for the same assembly weight. That calculation is part of the design, not an afterthought.
