Resilmount A48R Right Angle Bracket
The Resilmount A48R is a right angle sound isolation bracket. It is used where a furring channel or framing member has to be fixed at ninety degrees to the structure without creating a rigid sound path.

Not every isolation point is a flat surface. Where a channel meets a perpendicular member, a soffit returns, or a ceiling meets a wall, a standard flat clip does not fit. The A48R handles that geometry while keeping the rubber isolation element in the load path.
Load rating
The A48R carries an acoustical maximum load of 48 lbs per bracket, higher than the standard A237 clip, which is what makes it suitable for the heavier or more concentrated loads that occur at these junctions.

Ceiling perimeters, soffits, bulkheads and framing transitions on both wall and ceiling projects.
