Resilmount A237R Fire Rated Isolation Clip
The Resilmount A237R is the fire rated version of the A237 sound isolation clip. It performs the same job of decoupling furring channel from the structure, with a pre-attached fire rated washer that speeds up installation in rated assemblies.
Resilmount A237R
The A237R ships with an engineered fire rated washer already attached. On a rated wall or ceiling this removes a separate step and removes the risk of the washer being left out, which would invalidate the assembly.
How it works
The clip holds the furring channel on a thermoplastic rubber element with a sound cell structure. Because the channel never touches the stud directly, vibration entering the frame does not continue into the finished surface.

Multi family buildings, corridors and any assembly where a fire rating has to be maintained alongside the acoustic target.
