Most projects are quoted by the box, but a single clip is useful when a section of ceiling has to be opened and closed again, or when a count comes up short at the end of a run.
Same specification as the box
This is the same A237R clip supplied in the box of 25, with the pre-attached fire rated washer and the same 37 lb acoustical load rating. Buying singly changes nothing about the assembly.
Spacing still matters
One clip in isolation does nothing. The layout across the wall or ceiling is what produces the result, so the spacing has to follow the assembly being built rather than being placed where it is convenient.
