Integrity Gasket 1.5 inch x 100 ft Roll
Isolation gasket supplied as a 100 foot roll, 1.5 inches wide, used to separate framing members from the surrounding structure.
Integrity Gasket :Width 1.5 in., Length roll 100 ft.
Under the bottom track, behind the top track and anywhere a new frame meets an existing surface. It is a thin resilient layer that keeps the two from being in direct rigid contact.
Why it is worth the small effort
A decoupled wall built on a track that is screwed hard to the slab still has a path into the structure through that track. Gasketing the track removes a route that the rest of the assembly cannot compensate for.
Coverage
A 100 foot roll covers the perimeter of several average rooms, so on a single room project there is normally material left for the next stage.
