Jumbo Quart Gun
A jumbo quart applicator gun for large format sealant and compound cartridges, sized above a standard caulk gun.
Jumbo Quart Gun
Acoustical sealant and damping compound come in cartridges larger than a standard decorating tube. A normal caulk gun will not take them, and forcing the issue produces an uneven bead.
Why bead quality matters
An acoustical seal only works if it is continuous. A gun that skips or surges leaves gaps in the bead along a floor line, and those gaps are exactly where sound leaks through. Consistent pressure is the point of the tool.
On our projects
This is standard crew equipment rather than something a client normally buys, but it is listed because self install customers regularly ask what they need alongside the materials.
