Super Pad Acoustic Floor Pad 108 sq ft
Acoustic pad supplied as a 4.5 by 24 foot roll covering 108 square feet, used as a resilient layer under floors.
Super Pad 108SQFT,4.5 FT X24 FT
One roll covers 108 square feet. An average bedroom is between 120 and 180 square feet, so most rooms take two rolls once cutting waste and perimeter allowance are included.
Where it sits in the build up
The pad goes between the subfloor and the finished floor. It is not a substitute for the finished floor's own underlay if the flooring manufacturer requires one, and stacking incompatible layers can void a flooring warranty.
Perimeter detail
The pad has to be turned up at the walls or paired with a perimeter isolation strip. If the finished floor touches the wall directly at any point, impact energy bridges straight into the structure and a large part of the benefit is lost.
