Resilmount A96R Purlin Bracket
The Resilmount A96R is a purlin to furring channel sound isolation bracket, used where a furring channel has to be carried off a purlin or similar structural member without a rigid connection.

Commercial buildings, warehouses and converted industrial spaces often have purlins rather than conventional joists. Fixing a ceiling directly to them transmits structure borne noise straight into the room below, and the usual flat isolation clip does not suit the connection.
What the bracket does
The A96R provides the isolated connection between the purlin and the furring channel, so the ceiling can be built off the existing structure while remaining decoupled from it.
Where we use it
Converted lofts, commercial fit outs and any ceiling being built under an exposed structural frame.
